Agent who?
When the Time Agency faces its greatest threat, Keira Sanstrom knows there’s only one man for the job. But saving the universe is one thing. Keeping Agent Doctor in line is a far more impossible mission…

His clients have conquered millions of worlds. His weapons have ended billions of lives. But his private resort has the sort of security system that only trillions of credits can buy. Not even the Time Agency can bring the Quartermaster to justice.
Which is why Keira’s enlisted a new recruit. The Doctor has faced many villains, but this time, he’ll have to become one…

come to collect. Every day, pilgrims seek absolution at the Basilica of Mariazell. Like the painter who sees impossible things. Or the stranger who remembers people she’s never met. Or the Time Agents trapped in the town that time forgot.
But Christoph Haizmann will have no absolution. Once, he made a deal, and at last the Devil has

Producer Alfie Shaw said: “The Doctor is once again swept up in the world of time agent Keira Sanstrom and, this time, he’s been inducted into the Time Agency! It’s a similar mini-series structure, like the one we used in Timejacked! with three distinct adventures that lead directly into each other.”
Jacob Dudman said: “It’s been a really fun end to an era. It’s bittersweet hanging up the sonic glasses. I’m very honoured to have done it. I’ve been learning to enjoy playing the Twelfth Doctor as we’ve done these and feel like I’ve fallen in love with him through doing it.”
Script editor Max Kashevsky added: “We’re so happy that Jake agreed to come back as the Twelfth Doctor for this last box set. Every time he comes through that door, he gets better and better. He totally gets this Doctor. All three of these stories were precision engineered to push Jake to his limits as a performer, and he really took it on.”
On pairing the Doctor once more with Keira Sanstrom, Kashevsky continued: “Keira’s grown a lot since the last time we encountered her in Timejacked!. She had a lot to learn there, but this time, they’re on a much more even footing, and actually it’s the Doctor who starts off on the back foot. Keira’s world, the world of the Time Agency, butts heads with how a Doctor Who story is supposed to work, so you get this hilarious push and pull between them.”
And actor Bhavnisha Parmar said: “There’s a lot going on with the power play between the Doctor and Keira, a lot more excitement, as well as more humour, detail and nuance. With the other scripts we’ve done, she’s always had a sense of vulnerability about her, that she’s new and naive, and now these stories give her a sense of power and poise, and put her in a really confident space. It’s always nice to give the Doctor a match.”
